So much has been written, said and filmed about the many atrocities committed during World War II, that I don't feel the need to reiterate any the major events leading up to or taking place throughout the War.
What I learned throughout my reserach, was the treatment of my own family as well as the overall the treatment of the Filipino people by the Japanese Army from the time they invaded Manila (the same day as the bombing of Pearl Harbor), through the desertion/surrender of the American Forces and until such time General MacArthur so famously "returned" and ultimately liberated the Filipino people.
